Daffodil General Information

With their low-growing and compact size, Specie Daffodils are an ideal choice for small spaces and for naturalizing. They are floriferous and extremely durable and resembling miniature versions of many popular Narcissus varieties. Plant them in rock gardens, borders, window boxes, or under deciduous trees that will not leaf out until after the Daffodils have bloomed.

Daffodil Plant Care

In fall, plant bulbs in deep, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. Plant 4-6" apart and 6" deep in groups of 5,7,9 or more. Water during their growth period. After flowers bloom, let the foliage die back naturally. Once the foliage fades, cut it back. Interested in forcing bulbs? Visit our Useful Links page.
